This summer HALO ambassadors, supporters, and artists have worked to raise the visibility of our fine artists. We hope you experienced the powerful home-grown work of Kate Geddes and Aleph Geddis at Orcas Island Winery as part of our collaboration with MUST Gallery and the Orcas Island Artist Studio Tour. Or, perhaps you were one of the lucky twelve hundred audience members who got to glimpse the stunning works of Susan Singleton, Martha Farish, and Guggenheim fellow Michael Lundgren projected at the Orcas Island Chamber Music Festival. Or, one of the Black Box attendees who witnessed the standing room-only resurrection of “The Livingroom” with profound poetry and paintings. Well, we have a lot more planned. This website build is in progress and will include an online Modern Art Museum (MAM), a library of human artists on loan, and much more.
